Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Aviation Software Verification & Test Engineer, the full-time remote position will develop and execute test cases and procedures for safety-critical avionics applications, ensuring compliance with DO-178C standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute software and system test cases and procedures for avionics systems
- Perform requirements-based verification and conduct functional, system, integration, and performance testing
- Support verification activities throughout the avionics development lifecycle and document anomalies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of professional experience in software development, verification, or testing
- Five years of Java development experience and direct experience using SCADE
- Experience with DO-178C software development and certification activities
- Proven ability to develop and execute requirements-based software test cases and procedures
- Experience testing software in conjunction with avionics hardware and supporting certification activities
