Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Aviation Software Verification & Test Engineer, this full-time remote position will develop and execute test cases, conduct performance testing, and ensure compliance with DO-178C standards for advanced aviation navigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute software and system test cases, scripts, and procedures
- Perform requirements-based verification and conduct functional, system, and integration testing
- Support avionics certification activities and prepare verification evidence in accordance with DO-178C
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of professional software development, verification, or testing experience
- Five years of Java development experience
- Direct experience using SCADE for software verification
- Experience with DO-178C software development and certification activities
- Proven ability to analyze software and system requirements for verification activities
