Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Aviation Software Verification & Test Engineer, this full-time remote position focuses on supporting the development, verification, and certification of advanced aviation navigation systems through functional, system, and performance testing, while requiring up to 10% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute software and system test cases, scripts, and procedures
- Perform requirements-based verification of safety critical avionics software and conduct integration testing
- Support verification activities in accordance with DO-178C objectives and maintain traceability between requirements and verification artifacts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of professional software development, verification, or testing experience
- Five years of Java development experience and direct experience using SCADE
- Experience supporting DO-178C software development and certification activities
- Proven ability to analyze software and system requirements and translate them into executable verification activities
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
