AVP Property Claims
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the AVP Property Claims will manage claims advocacy, serve as a subject matter expert on coverage, and develop comprehensive responses to coverage rebuttal letters while collaborating closely with the Claims and Operations departments.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve coverage issues and mediate claims disputes
- Draft coverage rebuttal position letters and advise on policy wording solutions
- Build relationships with brokers and carriers to facilitate effective claims management
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in Commercial Property claims
- Previous experience with high dollar/severe property claims from an insurance carrier
- Knowledge of Inland Marine and Ocean Marine claims is a plus
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Claims Adjuster License is a plus
