Job Summary
Leading the oversight of commercial lines underwriting quality, the remote AVP Underwriting Quality Assurance will manage quarterly reviews, coordinate with legal for compliance, and partner with various teams to implement training and action plans.
Key responsibilities
- Manage quarterly underwriting reviews to identify trends and gaps, providing action plans for improvement
- Coordinate with the legal department to ensure compliance with underwriting processes and procedures
- Lead formal underwriting reviews and discussions with Executive Management teams
Required qualifications
- College degree
- 10-15 years of recent insurer experience
- Strong multi-line underwriting technical skills
- Understanding of state and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive solutions in a matrix environment
