Job Summary
To support a growing modernization team, the fully remote Sr. Cloud and Python Developer will design, develop, and optimize cloud-native solutions on AWS while migrating legacy applications and codebases to Python and enhancing database functionalities.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services, including AWS Lambda and AWS Glue
- Migrate legacy SAS code to Python and refactor applications for optimal functionality in the AWS Cloud
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance tuning and data migration activities
Required qualifications
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner required; AWS Certified Developer Associate preferred
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based applications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS serverless solutions and Python development
