Job Summary
To support a growing product team, the full-time AWS Certified Staff Engineer will lead technical direction, oversee architecture, and write code while collaborating with engineering and product leadership in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical direction for the development team and its product portfolio, ensuring alignment with architectural implementations
- Define the technical vision for systems and product teams, driving technical strategy and quality standards
- Coach developers through code reviews and design feedback, while participating in hiring and incident response
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of leading cross-system architecture
- Deep expertise in designing and building cloud applications on AWS, including serverless architectures
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or Terraform
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certifications
