AWS Cloud Migration Architect
Job Summary
Leading large-scale migration initiatives, the hybrid AWS Cloud Migration Architect will assess existing VMware environments, plan and execute migrations to AWS, and build cloud infrastructure while ensuring post-migration stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing VMware vSphere environments and recommend migration strategies
- Plan and execute migrations of VMware workloads to AWS, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Design and configure AWS cloud infrastructure components and automate deployment activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting VMware infrastructure environments
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions
- Proven experience leading VMware-to-AWS migration projects
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, and VMware PowerCLI
