AWS Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting secure AWS hosting environments for Department of War customers, the full-time hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer will design, implement, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve secure AWS hosting solutions for development, test, and production environments
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers and cybersecurity professionals to develop and implement technical solutions
- Build and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns and CI/CD pipelines to support automated workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within the first 60 days
- AWS certification or the ability to obtain one within the first 90 days
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related technical fields
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
