Job Summary
To support federal and defense customers, the fully remote AWS Cloud Security Consultant will design and implement identity and access management solutions across multi-account AWS environments, ensuring compliance and data protection.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement IAM solutions, including permission sets, roles, and cross-account access
- Build governance guardrails using AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies
- Lead compliance monitoring and support ATO packages under various security frameworks
Required qualifications
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent GPS-approved certification
- Proficient with AWS security services, particularly IAM Identity Center, Organizations, and KMS
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS) with experience in ATO processes
- DoD 8140-compliant baseline certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP)
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
