Job Summary
To support secure application development, the fully remote AWS Cloud Security Consultant (Application & AI Security) will manage security measures across DevSecOps pipelines, perform secure code reviews, and conduct penetration testing for cloud-native applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines through various scanning techniques and tools
- Perform secure code reviews and threat modeling for applications, APIs, and microservices
- Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, ensuring remediation of findings
Required qualifications:
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent GPS-approved certification
- Proficient with AWS security services, particularly AWS WAF, Inspector, and Security Hub
- Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST/SCA tools such as Fortify and Burp Suite
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS) and the OWASP Top 10
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
