AWS Data Architect
Job Summary
Providing technical architecture and modernization leadership, the contract AWS Data Architect will design migration strategies and assess dependencies across a complex AWS environment, working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define the overall technical architecture and modernization approach for the AWS environment
- Design migration strategies across AWS infrastructure, EMR/HBase/Spark, and Java applications
- Analyze technical dependencies between cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and application runtimes
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and modernization
- Experience with AWS EMR, HBase, and Spark
- Strong understanding of Java/Spring application architecture
- Experience designing cloud/application/data migration strategies
