Job Summary
Joining a team focused on building an AWS-based wealth data ingestion platform, the Senior Cloud Data Engineer will work full-time and hourly to process and validate large vendor data feeds, utilizing AWS services and Python in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support the AWS-based wealth data ingestion platform, ensuring efficient data processing and validation
- Investigate and resolve issues related to failed or incomplete data ingestion runs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize outputs for downstream enterprise consumers
Required qualifications
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and Aurora/Postgres
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and validation tasks
- Strong understanding of data ingestion workflows and cloud storage/database patterns
- Background in financial services or wealth management data is preferred
- Ability to learn and adapt to new data engineering domains quickly
