AWS Data Engineer II
Job Summary
Leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, the full-time AWS Data Engineer II will implement a scalable, cloud-native AWS data architecture, optimize query performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into effective data models, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the evolution from a Microsoft SQL XML object store to a cloud-native AWS data architecture
- Design and build reporting and query layers for non-technical users to access healthcare data
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure using AWS-native tools
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
- Proven experience in architecting cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare settings
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
