Job Summary
Leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, the full-time AWS Data Engineer II will implement a scalable AWS data architecture, optimize query performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the migration of XML object store data to AWS, defining storage formats and data organization
- Design and build a reporting layer for business stakeholders to run SQL queries against healthcare data
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure as Code practices for data infrastructure management
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS
- Proven experience in cloud data platform migrations within enterprise or healthcare environments
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift
- Strong SQL skills and experience with XML-heavy data stores
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
