AWS DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote AWS DevOps Engineer, this full-time position will engineer and maintain optimal performance of AWS environments, diagnose complex infrastructure issues, and collaborate with IT stakeholders to align infrastructure with business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain customer AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
- Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues while providing support for related technical hurdles
- Lead automation initiatives and mentor junior engineering staff, while creating and maintaining technical documentation
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field from an ABET-accredited institution
- 10+ years of software or network engineering experience with a Master's degree or 14+ years with a Bachelor's degree
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform/CloudFormation, Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines
- Current CompTIA Security+ and Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) certifications
