AWS Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To lead the development of a product-like platform and pipeline, the full-time AWS Lead Platform Engineer will drive the build effort with minimal guidance, focusing on creating a devops-based build process that incorporates security best practices and reusable components.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a devops-based build process for various teams
- Take ownership of the build effort from day one, ensuring adherence to security best practices
- Develop automation solutions and enhance existing components within the platform
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Crossplane and Argo CD, particularly for automation
- Strong scripting skills in CloudFormation, Python, Perl, or Unix shell scripting
- At least six years of related experience, or four years with a Master's Degree
- Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS
