AWS Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an AWS Software Engineer to join their team supporting the Department of Homeland Security's biometric system.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure system software and hardware, including network devices and firewalls
- Monitor system performance and manage user accounts while providing Tier III support for escalated help desk requests
- Review performance logs to identify issues, document troubleshooting steps, and support system incident resolution
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma with 6 years of experience in Information Technology
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government agency level clearance
- 5 years of relevant experience in Cloud Systems Administration
- Experience with AWS and knowledge of RHEL, Windows, and other open-source technologies
- Familiarity with tools such as OpenShift, Splunk, and Ansible Automation Platform
