AWS Technical Lead
Job Summary
To support a growing AWS practice, the full-time AWS Technical Lead will manage program delivery, technical leadership, and team development remotely, focusing on architecting, staffing, and overseeing AWS projects while driving compliance and automation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery across AWS programs, including staffing, schedules, risk management, and customer satisfaction
- Act as the senior technical authority on AWS, enforcing Infrastructure as Code standards and driving compliance as code initiatives
- Mentor AWS architects and engineers, building a certification and skills-development program to enhance technical capabilities within the team
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in cloud engineering or architecture, with 6+ years focused on AWS in DevSecOps or platform engineering roles
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, including module design and policy-as-code enforcement
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for federal systems, integrating security scanning tools
- Deep AWS security expertise, including IAM design and compliance automation for NIST SP 800-53
- Active AWS Professional-level certification required, along with an AI certification
