Azure Application Architect
Job Summary
To lead enterprise application architecture and cloud solutions, the remote contract Azure Application Architect will drive application modernization, API and microservices architecture, and secure software delivery while establishing engineering standards across development teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead application and solution architecture for enterprise-scale Azure and .NET applications
- Define architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and governance practices
- Establish Azure DevOps and CI/CD standards, integrating security and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications
- 3+ years in an Application Architect or equivalent architecture leadership role
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Azure solutions
- Strong background in .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality engineering
