Job Summary
To support the development of production applications on Microsoft Azure, the full-time Azure Application Engineer will design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using C# and .NET/.NET Core while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations while modernizing legacy applications
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application code and Azure services, ensuring reliability and performance
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, automating various aspects of the development process
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering or application development experience with strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Recent experience delivering production applications on Microsoft Azure with a focus on specific solutions and outcomes
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, and various Azure technologies
- Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure concepts and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
- Experience in modernizing legacy .NET applications for Azure and mentoring junior developers is preferred
