Azure Cloud Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Azure Cloud Architect will manage Azure infrastructure services, focusing on IaaS and PaaS technologies, application gateway configuration, and integration between on-premises and cloud solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the configuration and troubleshooting of Azure services, including storage, networking, and application gateways
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and migration strategies for Azure environments
- Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure seamless task execution and knowledge transfer within the team
Required qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience in Azure cloud technologies and infrastructure services
- Proficiency in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and related services, including SQL Server and Kubernetes
- Experience with IT service management tools, particularly ServiceNow
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell, and familiarity with JSON templates
- Hands-on experience in a 24/7 operations environment with a focus on system reliability and performance
