Azure Cloud Architect
Job Summary
To support the modernization of a highly secure payments platform, the remote, contract-to-hire Senior Azure Cloud Architect will manage end-to-end solution architecture, lead technical direction, and engage in hands-on engineering to design and implement scalable Azure solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and modernization of a complex enterprise platform in Microsoft Azure
- Design and implement secure, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams
- Translate business objectives into technical designs and provide technical direction to project stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years of architecture-level experience in complex enterprise environments
- At least 5 years of extensive, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Ability to balance architecture responsibilities with hands-on engineering tasks
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex solutions to diverse audiences
