Job Summary
To support a team focused on system security and stability, the contract Azure Cloud Engineer will work remotely, managing Azure landing zones, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring 24x7 operational coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Azure landing zones and platform services while implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep
- Define and measure SLIs/SLOs, conduct capacity planning, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate provisioning, incident response, and compliance processes
Required qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience supporting Azure-based infrastructure and services in production
- Expertise in Azure services such as AKS, App Services, and Azure SQL, along with strong IaC skills using Terraform
- Proven background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with experience in incident management and performance engineering
- Experience with CI/CD design and operations using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Solid understanding of Azure security best practices, including RBAC and Azure Policy
