Azure Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the availability, performance, and security of the Azure cloud environment, the full-time remote Azure Cloud Engineer will manage resources, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Provision and maintain the Azure cloud environment, including adding new servers and databases as needed
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of performance and security
- Design and implement Azure cloud-based solutions while providing technical support to internal customers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT administration, specifically in Azure cloud administration
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture
- Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and PowerShell scripting
- An active Secret clearance is required
