Job Summary
Designing and delivering scalable cloud-native applications, the Azure Cosmos DB Developer will work remotely to create and optimize NoSQL data models, develop REST APIs, and implement secure CI/CD practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications using Azure Cosmos DB, Java, and Spring Boot
- Create and optimize NoSQL data models and improve application performance through effective partition-key strategies and indexing policies
- Monitor and optimize application performance metrics using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Advanced experience with Azure Cosmos DB SQL API and NoSQL data modeling
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Monitor
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and cloud security principles
