Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Architect with an insurance background for a long-term remote contract position, responsible for leading the modernization of Claims Data Services, translating business requirements into scalable data solutions, and enhancing data quality and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Claims Data Analysts while establishing team goals and fostering a culture of collaboration
- Act as the primary SME for Claims data, providing guidance on industry standards and partnering with various teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze claims and operational data, support data conversion activities, and collaborate with Data Engineering teams on modernization initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance
- 5+ years of experience in Claims operations or administration
- 5+ years of Business Analyst or Data Analyst experience
- Experience supporting enterprise data modernization initiatives
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis, along with knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure
