Azure Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the ATLAS platform, the full-time Azure Data Integration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable Azure-based pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions, ensuring secure access to trusted data while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and optimize ETL processes for Azure Data Lake and Synapse Analytics
- Automate data ingestion from various sources and ensure high availability and performance tuning for large-scale datasets
- Collaborate with analysts and product teams to deliver actionable insights and support analytics and AI/ML use cases
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration from structured and unstructured sources
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and HDInsight
- Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to develop Power BI dashboards and reports, including advanced DAX and Power Query
