Job Summary
To support advanced analytics initiatives, the full-time Azure Data Engineer will design and implement analytics capabilities while working remotely with large datasets and Azure technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced analytics capabilities using Azure technologies
- Build data ingestion pipelines with Azure Data Factory for structured and unstructured data
- Harmonize raw data into consumer-friendly formats utilizing Azure Databricks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting
- Experience with Azure stack and Spark SQL for building data platforms
- Knowledge of Azure Storage schematics, including Gen1 and Gen2
- Familiarity with Snowflake for building data marts is a plus
