Azure Engineer
Job Summary
To support the management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, the fully remote Sr. Azure Engineer will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and operations of physical and virtual servers while collaborating with IT teams on security and disaster recovery processes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in designing and executing the migration of on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure
- Manage cloud-based Windows and Linux virtual servers, including monitoring and configuring app development tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and security of server systems and respond to incidents
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in IT with advanced training in server engineering and Microsoft Azure
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of Windows Server technology, including Active Directory and virtualization technologies
- Strong understanding of information security principles and practices
- Azure Certification is a plus
