Job Summary
As the founding infrastructure engineer for a new federal offering, the full-time Azure Government Cloud Engineer will design and build the Azure Government environment, implement security architecture, and manage infrastructure as code in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build the Azure Government environment for the federal offering
- Author and manage infrastructure as code and deployment pipelines
- Implement and maintain security architecture, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP standards
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering, with at least 3 years in Azure at production scale
- Deep experience with Terraform and a strong belief in infrastructure as code
- Production experience with Kubernetes, including Windows node pools and containerized .NET workloads
- Knowledge of Azure security services, including Sentinel and Defender for Cloud
- Experience operating under FedRAMP or equivalent regulated frameworks
