Azure IAM Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a leading technology organization remotely within the EST or CST time zones, the Azure IAM Engineer will design, implement, and manage Azure Entra ID solutions for a secure cloud environment while driving a new IL5 offering.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure Entra ID solutions to meet business, security, and compliance needs
- Manage identity and access management services, including SSO, MFA, conditional access policies, RBAC, and ABAC
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, conduct security assessments, and develop documentation and operational procedures
Required qualifications
- Proven experience administering and architecting Azure Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) environments
- Strong background with Azure cloud services, identity federation, SSO, MFA, and role-based access controls
- Experience with IAM security and compliance standards; IL5 experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Okta, SailPoint, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and identity governance solutions is a plus
