Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Azure Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and maintain Azure landing zones and platform services while implementing Infrastructure as Code and ensuring system security, stability, and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain Azure infrastructure, including VNet, Key Vault, and Application Gateway
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and enforce GitOps workflows
- Own incident response and conduct capacity planning, resiliency testing, and performance tuning
Required qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Azure-based infrastructure and services in production
- Expertise in Azure services such as AKS, App Services, and Azure SQL
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD processes
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and/or Python, along with Linux fundamentals
- Solid understanding of Azure security best practices, including RBAC and Azure Policy
