Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To support a financial services client, the part-time contract Azure Infrastructure as Code Engineer will design and maintain Azure environments as code, focusing on automation and standardization while working remotely for approximately 25 hours a week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain infrastructure as code for Azure environments using Terraform and/or Bicep
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Manage networking, identity, RBAC, and Key Vault configuration in code while enforcing governance with Azure Policy

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years hands-on experience in Azure
• Proven experience writing production Terraform or Bicep for Azure
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
• Working knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints) and Entra ID / RBAC
• Able to commit to about 25 hours a week during business hours (Eastern time)
