Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To support cloud operations, the remote contract Azure Infrastructure & Storage Engineer will manage Azure subscriptions and storage services, implement cloud governance, and ensure backup and disaster recovery processes across enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Azure subscriptions, storage services, and RBAC access policies
- Implement cloud governance, lifecycle management, and retention policies
- Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations and Azure system administration
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Azure Storage Services, Azure Backup, and Azure RBAC
- Proficient in automation and scripting using PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Solid experience operating within ITIL-aligned service management environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
