Azure Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Azure Security Engineer - MDE Administrator, this remote position will manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Servers, investigate security threats, and automate security tasks using PowerShell scripting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Servers
• Investigate and remediate security threats, alerts, and endpoint vulnerabilities
• Conduct threat hunting and enforce endpoint security and compliance policies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, cloud, or infrastructure security
• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Defender for Servers
• Proven track record in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Windows Security Administration
