Azure Solutions Architect
Job Summary
Seeking an Azure Solutions Architect to design cloud solutions and lead proposal solutioning for VA healthcare systems in a full-time remote capacity, focusing on developing secure and scalable Azure cloud architectures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of compliant and technically feasible solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Provide technical leadership for Pre-Bid-and-Proposal and Bid-and-Proposal activities, including solution and cost estimation
- Design and govern multi-subscription Azure environments and implement security architecture and cloud controls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 20 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 10 years of experience
- Extensive expertise with core Azure services and demonstrated ability to design and manage secure Azure cloud solutions
- Experience implementing Azure security services and best practices, including identity management and encryption
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid-connectivity architectures
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, and Terraform
