Job Summary
A company is looking for a Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails) to manage VA.gov sustainment and enhancement work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage backend development for legacy modernization and enhancements for VA.gov
- Work collaboratively with front-end and back-end developers in a multi-project environment
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements and development of user stories
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or equivalent experience
- Experience with Ruby on Rails development
- Experience working with Postgres, MS SQL Server, or Oracle databases
- Experience with GitHub
- Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum processes
