Backend Engineer
Job Summary
Building and maintaining backend services and APIs, the full-time Backend Engineer will work remotely using C# and .NET to enhance the performance and reliability of the Sweed platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for the Sweed platform
- Improve system performance, reliability, and observability while contributing to architectural evolution
- Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to drive technical solutions from design to production
Required qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
- Proven experience in building and supporting production systems
- Good understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience with microservices, queues, and caching
- Familiarity with AI tools in software development workflows
