Job Summary
Building a robust agent fleet for investigating live production incidents, the full-time Backend Engineer, AI SRE will design multi-agent orchestration, wire agents to observability data, and implement safety guardrails in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the agent fleet to investigate live production incidents, synthesizing root causes from real telemetry
- Design and implement multi-agent orchestration, including coordinator loops and specialized sub-agents
- Establish guardrails and evaluation harnesses to ensure safe and effective autonomous operations
Required qualifications
- Strong backend engineering experience, particularly in distributed systems
- Proven track record in building agentic systems with multi-step planning and long-running loops
- Experience with production incident reasoning and SRE instincts
- Familiarity with observability tools, including metrics, logs, and traces
- Background in SRE, on-call, or incident-response roles is a plus
