Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative backend solutions, the full-time remote Backend Engineer will architect, build, and scale backend services and APIs using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core, while implementing AI coding practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services and APIs, integrating with legacy systems and third-party APIs
• Implement agentic AI development practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD processes
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into effective technical architectures and ensure successful end-to-end delivery

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and maintaining agentic workflows within CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, including authentication, error handling, and versioning
• Practical SQL Server experience, including query optimization and data modeling
• Azure experience with services such as Azure App Services, Functions, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
