Job Summary

To support the development of groundbreaking AI-driven audio features, the remote contract Backend Engineer III will design, build, and maintain LLM-based backend solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance personalized listening experiences for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, and ship backend solutions for interactive AI features
• Write, deploy, and maintain high-volume distributed backend services operating at global scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to launch new personalized features and drive API development

Required qualifications

• Solid track record in backend engineering with experience in distributed, high-scale production services
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Machine Learning systems in a production environment
• Strong background in system design, data structures, algorithms, and API development
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment with clear target deadlines
