Backend Engineer - North Carolina
Job Summary
To support the development of enterprise AI services, the full-time Backend Engineer - North Carolina will design and implement scalable microservices, optimize data structures, and ensure system reliability while working remotely across the U.S.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop backend business functions based on product requirements, ensuring high-performance services
- Collaborate on data architecture and optimize PostgreSQL schema for system scalability and integrity
- Diagnose and resolve platform issues, utilizing monitoring tools for proactive maintenance and performance optimization
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development
- Strong programming skills in Java, including multithreading and optimization
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Kafka, and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
