Job Summary
Working remotely anywhere in the U.S., the full-time Backend Engineer - North Carolina will design and develop scalable microservices, optimize data structures, and maintain platform stability for an AI platform focused on managing enterprise AI services.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop platform business functions based on product requirements, implementing scalable microservices using Java and Spring
- Collaborate with database teams to optimize data structures and ensure data integrity and system scalability
- Diagnose and resolve platform issues, utilizing monitoring and debugging tools for rapid problem resolution
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5-10+ years of experience with high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development
- Strong programming skills in Java, including multithreading and optimization
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Kafka, and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
