Backend Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of high-performance SDKs, the remote Backend Software Engineer will build and enhance libraries across multiple platforms, collaborating with engineering and product teams to implement major features while maintaining open-source repositories.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of SDKs to meet performance and resiliency requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive the implementation and release of major features
- Maintain open-source repositories and advocate for best practices in software development
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with at least two programming languages such as .NET, Go, Ruby, Python, NodeJS, or Java
- Demonstrable experience building libraries and packages used by other developers
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience writing production-ready code
- Experience contributing to open-source software
- Polyglot background with the ability to quickly switch between programming languages
