Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage servicing team, the full-time Bankruptcy Specialist with Notary License will prepare legal filing documents, manage bankruptcy claims, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of bankruptcy cases, ensuring timely communication and updates on claims
• Prepare and submit bankruptcy claim packages to attorneys for review and approval
• Respond to inquiries from courts and attorneys, maintaining accurate records and documentation

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with five years of experience in mortgage foreclosures and at least one year in bankruptcies
• Notary Public License or ability to obtain within six months of employment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with document retention software preferred
