Job Summary
Working remotely and requiring residency in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones, the full-time Benefits Verification Specialist will manage benefit verification and authorization activities for new patient referrals, ensuring timely access to specialty medications.
Key responsibilities
- Processes benefit verification and authorization for all new referrals with speed and accuracy
- Works directly with payers to understand benefit design and obtain required authorizations
- Communicates coverage details and outcomes to Patient Access staff to support accurate onboarding
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of two years of experience in Benefits Verification or Authorizations
- Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
