Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end business intelligence lifecycle, the remote BI Developer will build and maintain scalable semantic models and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, ensuring data security and workspace governance across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain semantic models and dashboards based on specifications from Analysts
- Design complex data models and optimize model performance, including query speed and dataset size
- Manage workspace access provisioning, row-level security, and enforce naming conventions and standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of BI development experience with hands-on Power BI, including DAX and data modeling
- Direct experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Data Factory and Lakehouse management
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying cloud data platforms or data warehouses
- Experience managing Power BI workspace administration and user permissions
