Job Summary
Designing and developing enterprise-grade reporting solutions, the full-time BI Developer will create dashboards and analytical tools using Power BI and IBM Cognos Analytics while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop reporting solutions utilizing various data sources including policy, claims, and billing data
- Build reusable semantic models and executive-level dashboards while implementing security and access controls
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support governed analytics solutions and optimize report performance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in BI or data analytics development
- 3+ years of experience working with insurance products
- Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics and strong SQL skills
- Understanding of P&C insurance operations and claims lifecycle
