BI Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing technology client, the fully remote BI Engineer III will partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, design and develop Power BI dashboards, and create scalable reporting solutions from semantic models.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs for actionable analytics solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports to facilitate data-informed decision-making
- Create and optimize semantic models and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and performance in analytics
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics Engineering with advanced Power BI development expertise
- Strong proficiency in SQL, dimensional modeling, and enterprise reporting best practices
- Proven ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Experience in designing dashboards and reporting solutions from concept through implementation
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and modern analytics technologies in BI environments
